Welcome

Anecdotal Anatomy is a podcast that asks what it’s like to live in a body and investigates how our individual stories are part of the universal collective. Using models from various wisdom traditions, as well as basic understanding from personal life lessons, we explore our stories through casual conversation.

Our aim is to create a curious, engaged community through which these conversations will continue, with respect, humor and discernment.

Take some time to wander through our website, pick up some merch at our store and settle in to listen to the podcast with your favorite beverage.  We hope your Anecdotal Anatomy experience is meaningful.

Experience is our best teacher, so stay with us as we develop programs to put Anecdotal Anatomy in Action through workshops, practices, meditations, retreats and so much more. Subscribe to our YouTube channel for additional content.

Theresa

Theresa believes that the best gift she can give her body, mind, emotions and breath, is her attention. She is a lover of nature, natural modalities, self-care and the energetic connection of compassionate healing touch. She is a curious intuitive teacher, grounded in science, creative in expression, full of wisdom and energy for life, nature and the human body. Theresa embraces her inner student and insights gained as the fuel to ignite a curiosity in others.

The opportunity to create this podcast dissolves the walls of a classroom and replaces them with a microphone. Anecdotal Anatomy creates a more expansive community to share her passion for a holistic view of the human body and its ability to be our very best teacher.

Sherry

Sherry’s dreams have always included a need for authentic connecting, educating & entertaining, with a sense of healing & humor.  Whether in front of an audience or yoga class, in the solitary acts of writing, meditating or practicing yoga, as a parent or from the myriad jobs and experiences that have filled her 53 years, these qualities have remained steady.  Moved by a vivid imagination & deep reverence for the role of witness, Sherry is in a constant state of creativity & inquiry.

When the opportunity to podcast presented itself, it felt so natural.  It appeared as a map of where she started to where she was going, with plenty of detours to keep it interesting.  Anecdotal Anatomy is an extension of Sherry’s imagination & purpose, with a microphone.
