What Happens at CAMP?

CAMP is a celebration of summer, your senses, silliness and friendships. It is a somatic remembering of what it felt like to bite into a ripe peach, get bare toes in the sand, and release the everyday to something more magical.

CAMP is about meaningful moments strung together with joyful, playful activities that liken back to childhood. Bubbles, hula-hoops, and sidewalk chalk are just a lure. When you register, tell us your favorite childhood game.

CAMP is, by its nature, about serving your most vital and playful parts. This may require a shifting of old patterns and mindsets in order to move more deeply into the joy of now. How exciting is that!!

Last summer we had a dozen women participate in CAMP. Each person showed up with abundant authenticity, strong call to be in community, and an abiding desire to prioritize herself.  What we witnessed was self-care in action!

Your unique presence will contribute significantly to the alchemy of outcomes for yourself and the other campers. We have seen it happen!

We have seen friendships arise in the space where strangers once were and the light of inner children shining bright and playing their hearts out!

You know those butterflies you feel the night before your first day of school or camp? Those butterflies signify transformation and remind us that we’re alive!

You can expect

  • Farm walks

  • Circles

  • Stories

  • Food

  • Meditation

  • Connection

  • Moments of silence

  • Laughter

  • Journaling

  • Movement (dancing, walking, Yoga)

  • Fun

  • Mystery gifts…

There are plenty of planned activities and games, as well as spontaneous moments of connection, laughter and unexpected shenanigans.

CAMP fosters an atmosphere ripe with creative flow.

When creativity is the energy, anything is possible.

Who are we and why CAMP with us?

Theresa Tobin Macy is a decades-long massage therapist, Yoga educator and Yoga therapist, whose style of teaching is well-informed, science and anecdote inspired and lovingly shared through her soft, strong, confident voice.

Sherry Sadoff Hanck is a 24-year practitioner and teacher of Yoga, meditation, and mindfulness, whose style is story and humor-inspired, a mix of traditional lineage and modern sensibility, always shared with love.

Their paths connected on the mat and years later detoured into a podcast called, Anecdotal Anatomy – casual conversations about the stories our bodies hold and tell, with the mission to connect the individual to the collective.

Together, Theresa & Sherry’s playful, reverent, energies and particular perspectives, create a well-balanced, fun approach to learning. CAMP is a playful expression of Anecdotal Anatomy in Action!

CAMP is for women who want to connect with community while serving themselves at the deepest levels.

CAMP is a place where you belong simply because you show up!

Come to CAMP and express your authentic voice while celebrating the bonds that unite us.
